“… the Royal Society of Musicians”Weber wurde während seines London-Aufenthaltes bereits im April zum jährlich stattfindenden Festmahl der Royal Society of Musicians eingeladen (vgl. seine Antwort vom 17. April). Er kam der Einladung zum 13. Mai nicht nach, es wurde aber angeblich, dem Bericht von Moscheles zufolge, an diesem Tag seine Komposition aufgeführt (vgl. Moscheles’ Brief an Max Maria von Weber vom 15. September 1861).
